Earthing systems are designed to dissipate the lightning energy into the ground mass, and used to protect you from an electric shock.

In almost every electrical installation made, earthing is used, the earthing system, also known as the grounding system, is a circuit connecting parts of the electrical system to the ground.

The earthing system thus regulates the conductors to the earth's conducting surface.
